Suzuki SX4 Recalls
The SX4 has been recalled 9 times. The 2010 and 2013 model years have been involved in the most campaigns.
Recalls are free repairs, initiated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Suzuki itself, for a widespread safety problem. They might be a pain, but a recalled problem is better than an ignored one.

Suzuki is recalling the 2012-2013 SX4 to fix a power steering pump that keeps seizing but they have no idea what to do about it.

…Suzuki is recalling 5,800 Kizashi and SX4 vehicles because of control module problems inside the continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The pumps have multiple problems that can eventually lead to their failure. They don't have enough clearance from the surrounding pump body. They don't do well when parked in cold weather. And they really hate when you accelerate with the steering wheel turned all the way to the left or right.…
